This is a publicly funded project. This is a publicly accessible street. This is a public place where there is no "expectation of privacy". And sorry, but if someone is working and "want to keep their location private for domestic problems" then I suggest they do not park their vehicle on a public street. You know what else is public, your Facebook profile. Please tell me this girl is not responsible for any personal financial information or legal matters. She just makes the rules up as she goes along. No 'girl', you can't put a gag order (no photos) on a publicly funded project on publicly funded property. That's not how the real world works. If you are standing in a public place and take a photo of a publicly funded construction project on public property, any people or license plates that are incidentally captured in the image generally have no reasonable expectation of privacy, as recognized in Canadian law by the Supreme Court of Canada. Because everything shown is visible to anyone passing by, it is considered publicly observable. Under Alberta’s privacy framework, administered by the Government of Alberta, this kind of photography is normally lawful when done for personal, informational, or journalistic purposes, and legal concerns usually arise only if the image is used to harass someone, mislead the public, or exploit people in sensitive situations.

For those who are wondering, this person demonstrates what "shitposting" means. "the activity of posting deliberately provocative or off-topic comments on social media, typically in order to upset others or distract from the main conversation." They don't have the mental acuity to productively contribute to the conversation, of the balls to identify themselves, so they randomly troll people in a sad, pathetic attempt to get a rise out of them and feel relevant. It does the opposite though and, like this situation, often just gets them reported to the platform.     Dig your hole a little deeper troll.  So, you're a polygamist then?  Do you think they will? Nah, I doubt it.  This delightful twat was blocked by Facebook Moderation, but I thought I'd share his wonderful comments here for everyone to see forever. It's okay Kevin, I'm sure that Facebook Security will find your comments as inspiring as I did.  I was originally going to post the two comments (which were a reply to a post that I made on my page) that Facebook moderated on my website, but I decided to share them here instead. Kevin Deck, was that a threat in your longer comment? Should I be forwarding these to the RCMP along with Facebook Security? It might be wise for you to mind your own business going forward. I don’t know what Kevin Deck means to Chase, or why he feels the need to defend him over nothing. That’s his choice. But making idle threats and expecting me to ignore them isn’t acceptable. Our interaction started with a brief exchange. He used the old name for Riverside Meadows, and I reminded him that it changed in 2009. Apparently, that upset him enough to post two comments that Facebook blocked. After his first comment was hidden, he posted another one, blaming me for it being removed. He didn’t seem happy about failing Facebook’s moderation standards. In that comment, he mentioned that I should hide my address, even though it’s already public. That raises concerns. Is he suggesting harassment or stalking? Is this something I should report to the RCMP as well? So, if you know Kevin Deck or have to work with him, you have my sympathy. You see Kevin, when people troll me and make threats, even implied ones, I have no qualms about sharing them with the world. You might be able to go back and delete them, or Facebook might do they job and moderate you for them, but I would still like everyone to know just what kind of person you really are. Be mindful of your words - someday, someone may turn them back on you.  |
