Ethics and Code of Conduct

Let's discuss "ethics" further. I am currently disabled so I'm not working. If elected I would halt any compensation I receive under disability and only earn an income as a Councillor. Being a Councillor would be my first and only job in our city.

I read things like this, and wonder why we have a Mayor and Council if we just keep giving more power to the City Manager? We are becoming a 'top down' administration like the mess that has been created in Edmonton and Calgary. Where residents are in a constant legal battle with the city just to have their voices heard after the fact. This can not happen in Red Deer. ​
