Comment: The lack of staffing in the fire halls is placing residents of this city in a bad position.

My response: Agreed. I believe I am the ONLY candidate that has called for a 25% increase in staffing (from 192 to 242 fire-medics) and brought up the ‘future’ need for possibly a 6th or even 7th fire station in the next 10-25 years. Our city is forecasted to have a population of 150,000 by 2035, we currently have about 114,000.
